The Royal School of Etiquette

Etiquette & Butler School

Talks, courses and demonstrations, from Royal Afternoon Tea Etiquette to the skills of the perfect host, taught by a former royal butler.

Since 2011

The Royal School of Etiquette

Grant's journey into professional etiquette training began in 2011, when he held his first etiquette and butler class at a hotel in his local town. Building on its success, he established The Royal School of Butlers, followed by the opening of The Royal School of Etiquette in 2014.

Today, Grant takes his expertise around the world, delivering bespoke etiquette training, hospitality programmes, masterclasses and entertaining talks for international audiences, luxury hotels and corporate clients.

From the finer points of Royal Afternoon Tea and the art of hosting to formal dining, traditional British service and modern social etiquette, his courses combine practical skills with fascinating royal insights and his trademark sense of humour.

Whether training hospitality professionals or hosting an exclusive etiquette experience, Grant brings the standards of royal service to the modern world.

Established 2014

The Royal School of Butlers

Grant began offering butler courses in 2014, based on his background at Woburn Abbey and in the various royal homes and palaces of the British Royal Family.

In 2014 Grant partnered with world-renowned Blenheim Palace, home of The Duke of Marlborough, to offer students the chance to train as a qualified butler for corporate, domestic or commercial environments.

Throughout the year we run our butler courses at Blenheim Palace, Thornbury Castle and Borthwick Castle.
