The Royal School of Etiquette and Butlers
In 2011, Grant held his first etiquette/butler class in a room in a hotel in his local town. Within two years he was in discussions with Blenheim Palace on establishing The Royal School of Butlers with HRH Princess Katarina as the patron. The School opened its doors in 2014 and
in the same year, HRH Princess Katarina and Grant, both passionate about etiquette established the Royal School of Etiquette too, with classes running at Blenheim Palace and The Ritz Hotel in London.
In 2018, with the help and support of the HON. Victoria Bruce, daughter in law of The Earl of Elgin, The Royal School of Butlers opened its doors in Scotland at Borthwick Castle. The Royal School of Etiquette and Butlers have now been running for 6 years. Grant now travels the globe teaching his etiquette classes as far as Australia. The Royal School of Etiquette
Grant's passion and love for etiquette started at a very young age with his parents teaching him manners and dining etiquette.
Not only did he learn how to act and behave like a gentleman, but he was also taught the core basics of etiquette by Robin Russell, the 14th Duke of Bedford and later for by his other employer The Prince of Wales. Grant now offers his wealth of experience in etiquette classes to clients across the globe.
We also provide the talented services of Her Royal Highness Princess Katarina joining us for luxury events. Our talks, courses and demonstrations range from Royal Afternoon Tea Etiquette, the skills required to be the perfect host and hostess and of course, not forgetting our unique etiquette dinner parties.
These are all held at Blenheim Palace near Oxford, Thornbury Castle near Bristol, The Ritz Hotel and The Millennium Hotel in London, Broomhall House and Borthwick Castle near Edinburgh.

The Royal School of Butlers
Grant began to offer Butler courses in 2012, based on his background at Woburn Abbey and in the various Royal homes and Palaces of the British Royal family.
In 2015, Grant partnered with world-renowned Blenheim
Palace, Home of The Duke of Marlborough, to offer the chance to train as a qualified butler for corporate, domestic or commercial environments.
In 2017, Grant introduced his Butler School in Scotland. At the time, it was the only opportunity to experience this unique service in Scotland.
Throughout the year we run our butler courses at our truly unique venues which include, BlenheimPalace, Thornbury Castle and Borthwick Castle.
